5 pipers outta 5, this had me making so many movements in my seat

This was kinda disappointing tbh. It plays fairly straightforward with no unexpected twist or turns and it's not really scare but depressing.

Talk to me was better but I had problems even with that film. These guys have potential but so far neither of their films have thoroughly impressed me. Also can they cut down on the gore... It's not scary and doesn't add to the story

How intense is this?

Their claim to fame was gore on their rackaracka channel, and given that they've got an upcoming documentary with real gory injuries, I doubt they'll be slowing down soon. Outside of the face smash scene on the table and the montage, Talk To Me was largely middle of the road/meh. The storytelling just didn't do it for me.

Righttt man I think I’m in the same boat. I liked Talk To Me enough but I thought it was mostly alright. I remember my first watch I was surprised that the movie was over and that’s not to say that short movies = bad, moreso I thought we were still in the buildup part of the movie

I feel the same way here. This might be more of a me issue but I felt like the whole refer to found footage if lost thing they were doing was both nonsensical and kinda annoying because I felt like it did bad explaining the “rules” of this universe when it comes to the whole ritual. . Again though, maybe I just missed some stuff.

I also feel like this was grossly oversold about how f***ed up and depressing it is. IMO I still feel like Hereditary did it wayyyyy better

It's sort of cool that it didn't explain the rules, but it also didn't really do enough to get me to care. Like, I was completely fine not knowing, at the end of the day it was just window dressing for gore.
