Man came in here and generalized all men and you co-signed it. You think you got it all figured out when you don’t know s*** bro
i'm not derailing this thread into a back-and-forth with how you really just mad because niggas exposed you for not reading replies/sources bruh. you 20, go outside and touch some grass lil one.
U still thinking about and referencing a thread from a few days ago yet you’re telling other niggas to touch grass
I wanted to argue against this but whenever I scroll thru life and music sxn and see the threads and discussion that goes on, I have asked myself if these dudes actually have anyone close to them, male or female, in their lives to keep them from asking and saying the stupid ass s*** that they do.
Maybe that survey is possibly onto something? A good amount of the responses I'm seeing itt definitely has me thinking it is...
reallllly sloppy a***ysis in that video
there's a lot i could go into but i find the best way to explain this kind of stuff is with the little things.
one of the characteristics of mystery babylon is that is a nation, not a system. ok what is this founded on?
one quote from one english translation of the bible that chose to use the word nation. do you not see how it is extremely likely that the word which was translated into nation could also be translated into state or system or society or any other number of words? in other words, there is no real significance to the word nation being used instead pf the word system.
regardless, something so arbitrary is assigned significant value. the english translation of the bible is bring taken absurdly literally here, to a point that the original meaning of the text becomes distorted. it is made to "say" something it actually never says
and this happens throughout the video. there is no shortage of forced interpretations here. the existence of a mystery babylon is again founded on taking specific word choice EXTREMELY literally, to a point of absurdity.
half this theory is based on comically literal readings of a translated bible, and half is based on elaborate assumptions required to reconcile these literal readings
while viewing america through the lens of mystery babylon can provide unique insight, and does hold some value, it is for the most part an understanding built on very shaky foundations, and should remain as an exercise in perspective. it certainly should not become part of a rigid worldview.
point being, there is a lot of truth to what you say, but there is also a lot of non-truth. you have to learn to separate the wheat from the chaff, my friend.
Yea, that's why I posted those specific precepts to begin with. The Biblical Precepts is how we communicate and don't speak on our own volition. Any good song is written within a Key, we cite God's word so we know we're in alignment with His music. That song of Moses.
On a macro view, America/Western Society being Mystery Babylon I agree with, considering other prophecies that pertain with the judgements of this world.
Now speaking micro as you've gone earlier, there are nuances of America that reflect the 2 prior Babylons. The 'all inclusiveness', American Dream, Christmas, Easter, Lent, etc. Those 3 so called Christian holidays are actually rooted in Ancient Babylon.
Nebanechauzzer is an archetype for the first best of Revelation 13. That's why Isaiah 14:1-2 and Revelation 13:9-10 have the same language about Babylon leading a nation into captivity and thus going into captivity.
Then there's Revelation 18 which speaks of Mystery Babylon and that cites that first beast of Revelation 13 as well as Isaiah 14, Jeremiah 51 etc.
It's an in depth study that's worth reviewing.
There are chapters such as 2 Esdras 13,15, & 16 that make it plain as to what's happening in this world today. Who the Eagle is, why these plagues are existing etc.
You're clearly intelligent and have the dillagence to gain insight on life and what it provides.. I humbly suggest reading the verses & chapters of whats been posted.
Peace

You're not helping anybody with some of the reactions itt.
Discourse around issues that affect men disproportionately always lacks consideration of structural causes and conditioning etc. People are quick to talk about toxic masculinity when it's about pointing out individual failures of individual men, but are hesitant to talk about toxic masculinity in the form of the harmful standards that men are expected to live up to. How does that make anything better?
That's how you get divorce court radicalizing middle aged men into becoming braindead reactionary ultra-mysogynists.
People wanna talk about losers, but loneliness is probably the biggest factor that leads men to becoming losers. You're not helping any women by saying "lol f***ing loser" and ignoring structural factors that lead to loserdom. Might make you feel good inside though
Moral indignation at their mysoginy is not only understandable but even a good thing I would say. But it takes more than that to actually improve things.

I'm talking more generally in that post. Not targeting just you.
Especially if we look at the possible causes of this decline in friendships according to the article:
The COVID-19 pandemic is the most obvious culprit in the national friendship decline, but broader structural forces may be playing a more important role. First, Americans are marrying later than ever and are more geographically mobile than in the past—two trends that are strongly associated with increasing rates of self-reported social isolation and feelings of loneliness.1 Second, American parents are spending twice as much time with their children compared to previous generations, crowding out other types of relationships, including friendships.2 Finally, Americans are working longer hours and traveling more for work, which may come at the cost of maintaining and developing friendships.3 In fact, perhaps reflecting its central place in the hierarchy of American social life, Americans are now more likely to make friends at work than any other way—including at school, in their neighborhood, at their place of worship, or even through existing friends.
That's just capitalism taking its toll on people. Beyond me how you can be so dismissive of this just because it affects men more.

Alienation did their number on us. People only live to work and procreate now.
