Not sure if worth it is the right phrase considering they have a movie starting to film later this year and Supergirl is in the bag already. The studio has confidence in this movie while being sandwiched between a movie that will probably gross $1B and a highly anticipated Marvel movie.

I think this movie will make a lot of money solely based on the viewership, marketing and word of mouth it has already. It will cross $1B easily with legs if the movie is good.

If $175M domestic debut happens, then this movie easily makes $700M+, especially with that runtime being as short as it is. If a 3 hour Batman movie can make $772M then this Superman should be able to perform just as well considering how many people seemingly like what they've seen so far and trust Gunn to make a great movie.
