Seems like a pretty nothing movie

I know I’ve been d***riding this film but all hype aside, that is not a high bar. The bar is below hell. Superman just needs to be alright and it’s already better than MoS. MoS is not good. It wasnt good when it dropped and even if hack Snyder was still going with the snyderverse it still wouldn’t be good. If black Adam and aquaman 2 didn’t exist, his trilogy would be bottom 3 DCEU. Snyder doesn’t understand Superman. In fact, he doesn’t really understand any of the DC characters he was working with. All his DC films were slogs to get through and the best ones in his universe weren’t even directed by him. It was a neat experiment I guess

It's a good "superman" movie but the best Superman stories are the ones that also emphasize his human side. The Clark and all the supporting cast in MOS were 1 dimensional

I just think it doesn’t make sense power level wise. Wouldn’t a unpowered vanilla human throwing a can at his head be like a tiny fly landing on a normal human head? You wouldn’t blink or flinch if that happened. I think the shot conveys the sadness without the flinch.

superman for sure would not blink at a can getting thrown at his head it was a valid enough gripe
but you could criticize stupid s*** like that on any movie
