Haven't watched in years tbh. Admittedly was never huge on Superman either so I can't speak to whether or not it looks close to source material, just honestly came off as a bit goofy.
Will still be checking out for sure, just wish it was looking less James Gunn-y

The only critique I have, and it's been the same since it was first revealed, Guy Gardner looks so f***in dumb. I don't care if that's what they were going for because it ain't even dumb in a humorous way. It's dumb in a cheap and lazy character and costume design way.

AshTheRobotbecause they're toxic as hell lol. It's great that they did a good thing like that, but its going to take a lot more than a good deed like that to reshape the general public's perception. Especially when they continued to be a toxic community after that lol

Ironically the comic one looks more like a modern/gen z cut without the curls, they could’ve made it a more modern/pallettable look with a younger actor. And he’s a red head in the comics but this weird blonde in the movie.

A huge difference in the communities from what I’ve seen is
James Gunn’s toxic fans tend to stay isolated at attacking toxic Snyder fans.
I’ve seen Snyderfandom drama expand beyond the superhero community, to where other communities and the general public are made aware.
It also doesn’t help that there are known figures in the Snyder community that are also part of that Anti-Woke/Red Pill community. Ppl like a Tyron Magnus lolYes, both can be bad. But there’s a reason why Snyder community has a worse rep lol
