Evil super man keeps coming up because of people think the character is boring and think what people really want is for him to be some dark brooding anti hero. Also the influence of the injustice story

For years I’ve been seeing the majority of people say they are tired of the dark Superman and want him to be represented more so how he is in the comics.

The Henry Cavil Superman is unpopular for that reason

realisstically superman would be depressed fairly often
