As long as they properly plan it really isn’t that difficult to nail a tone different from Snyder and different from mcu that succeeds . It all comes down yo if Gunn will carve that lane . X men at peak ( also by a pedo ) was really good as was heroes ( not by a pedo. ) at showing heroes in a different light than most limit us too. Dont get me wrong watchmen , boys , invincible all cool but its nice sometimes just seeing a different lane that cuts into it
