when it comes to overseer of universe I am consistent on whoever is writing and directing shouldn't oversee that wasn't just a snyder thing for me. Even writing and directing itself a risk like its tough

Nigga like me would get hype for lindelof writing. That is just me though. Direction wise I just want someone willing to break a lot of the recent superhero conventions and since Gunn created some of that framework I can't believe in him to break them necessarily.

I don't know how you can see GOTG 3 and still doubt him.
Also there is literally no one with as much experience and capability who would want the job.
If you throw around names like Burton, Nolan or Spielberg that's just unrealistic.
People like Russos, Whedon, Favreau are too corporate and Marvel-y.
Only one I can see apart from Gunn is like the Spider-Verse Duo of Lord and Miller and you guys will again have the comedy and goofy complaints about them.
