Why is there no thread for this masterpiece?

How art thou, thou globby bottle of cheap, stinking chip oil? Come and get one in the yarbles, if ya have any yarbles, you eunuch jelly thou!

No time for the old in and out love, i've just come to read the meter

Instantly became my fav movie of all time recently. What a f***in masterpiece my gulliver loves this
Can any of y'all give me some reasons why I should watch this? I watched the trailer and it looks like a psychological movie, which is the genre I enjoy, but for some reason I can't force myself yet to watch it.
I've read that it's also ahead of its time.

Because it’s 🐐
Also Malcolm McDowell kills this s***, cinematography, music & the sets are all incredible (Record store, Alex's room, writer's house etc.).
That set design made me so uncomfortable. Apart from the obvious scum s*** Alex does, the entire vibe of this film was super unsettling.

It's supposed to be. It's low-key a horror film.

The world is so weird it draws you in from the very first opening shot. One of the best lead performances by an actor ever (Malcom Mcdowell). It transcends genres and time period
It's just a f***ing classic in every way
Clockwork Orange > 2001 > The Shining > Eyes Wide Shut tbh
Personally I go
1. 2001
2. Shining
3. Eyes Wide Shut (my favorite Christmas watch)
4. Clockwork
5. Spartacus
But really its just cause clockwork is a bit of a tougher re-watch. Its great - but you know not something u can just throw on like the others really.

It was tough on the first watch but i think Clockwork actually has a high replay value. Has lots of humor packed in the dialogue
If anything i'd say 2001 is the one i really have to be in the mood for, since there's hardly any dialogue and it's more of an visual experience
Just finished my first watch. Ngl I was expecting to hate this since most films from the 1900s that people call classics end up being trash or mid to me but it was honestly great. Idk if I’d rewatch anytime soon since it made me quite uncomfortable (as others have mentioned) but there are so many quotables lol
