s*** is crazy... as an artist who makes 6 figures touring per year only to some years get passed overnight by random new kids then silently watch them get opportunities i feel i deserve i can confirm you the pressure is insane. pressure from friends, management, booking agents, competition..

you really need a crazy head on your shoulders and/or a huge support system to go through the ups and downs unscathed

looking at his last twitter retweet and some of his recent spotify stats you can tell his numbers weren't what they were in 2018

you need people around you and og's to tell you it's all fine and that you're talented and appreciated and that it's not a race but a marathon and that your next hit is always around the corner and that all that matters is you keep doing what you love and that you're always gonna go through phases of having alot of fans and phases of not being the flavor of the moment

getting initial hype then watching people you feel are less talented then you pass you will destroy your mindstate if you let it

i don't know what else he was going through but i can only assume it was a combo of everything

always be careful when you talk about an artist "falling off" or "missed his chance"

i see sometimes people here will talk about a dude who had a big breakout hit in 2019 being past his prime and missed his shot when he hasn't had another huge hit yet in 2021
