I mean I don’t buy the narrative that Drake is finished (the flop singles don’t mean much to me) so I agree with him in that respect, and I also agree Drake dropped good songs the entire time. But at the end of the day, those last two songs Kendrick dropped finished the beef, and drake’s response to those songs was considered weak. Kendrick’s L in that beef (the fake kid stuff) ultimately didn’t really alter the scorecard due to Not Like Us taking center stage. I don’t see how 50 can argue Drake didn’t lose, irrespective of whether Drake’s sales/dominance/relevance continues in spite of the loss (which I think it will).
