Facts everyone just loves the energy of them 3 and the dialogue

I’m reluctant to say it’s a mid movie, because i actually think it’s a beautiful testament to a specific time in Harlem.

And as much as cam’s and im assuming others improvised lines make the movie, Harris and others are phenomenal actors in their own right, who i imagined stuck to the script

The Scarface element in the script and how it affected the local imaginary of what was possible/the true American dream for “outsiders” is super underrated

All in all, its a decent script that comes alive by the cast, and unless they do something really creative with a phenomenal cast its not gonna be good

They really have to cast the right hothead, block boy, and nerd nigga to capture the vibes, it just make too much sense they all played their role perfectly, i cant even imagine others doing it lol

Casting should be easy, you just gotta find new talent with charisma. I’d advise to not grab already established actors.

The writing is what I’m concerned about. Because him getting the rights to PAID IN FULL tells me he wants to run with the more fabricated story? And I’m assuming he’s gonna use the fake names the movie created?

I don’t like that. And I know Azie dislikes the paid in full movie so why you try and tackle the true source?

If Starz is going to do more urban/street stuff, I need them to do a documentary series on independent Hip Hop labels. I'm talking Rap-A-Lot, Suave House, Hypnotize Mind, Trill Ent, Slip N Slide etc, each episode an hour and a half or longer.

Yea i doubt they use the real names all that. Casting could easily go wrong if they go for established actors
