Why we comparing Ye and Pac? Different genre tbh

Ye was always going to get amazing reviews with how much he pushed boundaries and experimented with sounds. He’s a genius and an artist. But he’s not a rapper in the same sense that Pac was.

Pretty sure that a lot of music publications have reassessed it and recognised its brilliance.

No other album has the transition from TLADILA into Blasphemy. That s*** is INCREDIBLE.

Imagine thinking Pac is copying and pasting lyrics when he penned a verse like this:

Pac is GOAT but the first two albums are kind of mid. Great songs but as a whole there are a lot of skips. He truly found his sound on MATW - 7 Day Theory. Thug Life is solid though

yea but to say his discography is bloated in the fast food era of rap just feels like you’re talking out your ass

i’m not saying all of his music is good or he doesn’t have mid : filler on his albums. but ppl throw away his whole discography as if every song is California Love or Hail Mary

even his first two are are decent and have at least one or two hits

but that three album run is so good. may not be for everyone but they’re just so good
