I’m not treating anyone like a god I’m literally saying artists go on hiatus / take extended periods of time to work on their s*** all the time and they don’t owe anyone anything to make appearances just to appease us. I’d be saying the exact same thing about Drake if he ducked out for a bit.

They’re both the best at what they do, and neither of them are trying to do what the other is doing at this point. I feel like trying to compare drake and Kendrick in 2022 is so arbitrary. Sure they both fall under the umbrella of rap but they’re completely different lanes. Neither could successfully fill the space that the other would leave in hiphop if they were suddenly gone.

No disrespect to big artists in rap that want to be releasing frequently, but plenty of great artists take time with their work. It’s such a f***ing moot point.
