It’s very creative and dope. And it’s not done in a force way. Subtle and fun idea for an intro

I don’t disagree, I just don’t think it’s all that unique. I like the subtlety and it def makes it more cohesive but making sure there’s a narrative structure like that in your song is a standard part of being a great writer imo

nevertheless they did a good job with this song and the album as a whole. its been a long time since I enjoyed a Drake project this much tbh

it’s really not. I write songs myself and I wouldn’t call myself an expert at all but literally every time I write, I put thought into how to make sure the section I’m writing connects with the previous one and the one afterwards in a cohesive way. and I’m a whole amateur so it’s not a surprise that two pros like Drake and 21 put thought into their song as well
