Best Rap performance isn’t about an actual live performance it’s about the performance, rap ability/delivery on the song. I think it can be argued but Kendrick’s second verse flow switches and overall vocal delivery are pretty strong

TV off is just the more dynamic song tbh, Birds Don’t Sing is a very great intro track but it’s not even really a “single” if you get me, I think it’s tough to win a Grammy with a song like that over a song as big as tv off even before the favoritism. To be real, the only reason that song was even able to make it to a nomination was because of a level of favoritism

I am saying it’s a more catchy relistensble song . Tv off is more pop but in terms of meaning or a song that is emotionally moving it’s birds . Kendrick fans including myself used to see him put out meaningful music and get snubbed or lose so if he wins for this cool I guess . If you can’t even break down why it’s better than you get my point
