Paying players was the death of college sports
Iowa is about to make a sweet 16 against Nebraska. Wym?

a 9 seed in the sweet 16 would be cool but imagine a 14, 15, 16 seed in the sweet 16
or hell, even a 12 or 13 seed. One double digit seed in the entire sweet 16?
Paying the players when they all already get full rides and housing and stuff has made the sport uncompetitive.
MAGABliss itt
im not even maga, im against basically everything trump is for
but I just dont see why college atheletes need to get paid when they already get college for free
and it also creates an uneven playing field because some schools have more money to spend then others
Michigan has only been a #1 seed four times in history and two of those times came when they could pay athletes
and now Michigan will blow teams out by 20+ each game just because they can afford better talent.
The exact opposite of what made March Madness the best sporting event in the world in the past
I understand in the past #1 seeds still won the tournament more often then not BUT at least the first 3 rounds were always entertaining

I’ve enjoyed these rounds
like Michigan being a #1 seed in basketball is a BAD sign
It’s not like they’re never been a great team before?

Outside of 8 vs 9 seeds, there were like 3 upsets in the first round.
Yeah the games can still be enjoyable like Kentucky but it doesn't hit the same. The "Madness" is gone from March Madness
