So America & Israel are the only ones who can invade and bomb countries without having any sanctions on em?
I don’t think as much is calculated as you’d probably think. It’s also why the “everything is a CIA plot” stuff kinda falls through. At any given point you of course malevolent parties acting on multiple intersecting on points of tension at the same time, but how much of that is ultimately realized is up in the air and more dependent on tons of factors and actions at once. I think in the nascency of agencies it was easier for them to be omnipresent and focused, but currently it’s just like powers that be have tendrils everywhere which often intersect and nullify themselves in a tangled mess. I think honestly yeah a lot of stuff in government and media and the like really does happen because people believe things or at least are delusional enough to think they do. Which is a lot harder to try to think about how to then counteract than if they were just arbitrarily malevolent
It's definitely a fascinating thought that some people in high positions unironically believe in their own propaganda
Could it be true that Putin was lowkey trolling with the DENAZIFICATION and WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION thing?
I mean he dropped those things from his demands

Or Zelensky wouldn't budge on "no Nazis"

I don't think this is honestly that weird or farfetched, it's only weird because their ideology is so clearly destructive that it's hard to wrap your head around anyone believing it for anything other than personal gain. But honestly if you've ever met a lot of ""activist"" types of liberals, they do genuinely believe it, and it's not hard to imagine that line gets blurred once these people start climbing the social ladder until they get into positions where they're around others who only believe things for opportunity whereas they themselves do genuinely believe it
Apparently Khrushchev wanted to give Kaliningrad to Lithuania too
what was he on

It's pretty funny when Polish people online see their support for Bandera and they're like "woowww really come on now guys we hate Russia too but wtf!!!" and then see mfs do crayz mental gymnastics to defend their worship of Bandera

Seems at odds with some of the terms on this shortlist.
I don't think Israel is the best pick for choosing a model for defending national sovereignty
