Even before myplayer/myteam vc took over, sports games intentionally don’t patch things up throughout the year so they can act like they made a ton of improvements and updates to the next game
I think some of that s*** just cant be patched tho like they gotta remake the mechanics every year

The biggest problem with this is their largest source of income is the ultimate team game modes, and they can barely supply enough new content to make it through one cycle, let alone 3
Aug 7, 2021UnityHow can't it? At $20 a piece that's only 20 different skins that I had... and they were only releasing like 1 new one per week back then. They release like 3-4 brand new skins a week at this point, I have a super low end account now lol

MyTeam gets stale in like February and the game comes out in like October. Some guys are on their 3rd or 4th card by that point

Isn’t ultimate team just cards and s***? Couldn’t they keep updating that along with gameplay fixes? I feel like if they really wanted to they could make it a 2-3 year cycle but money talks
