S scheduled it
goaltend don’t count in olympics and FIBA if it hits the rim
the ball hit the backboard first
at least for the final possession
It was the right play
Gobert comes out off the paint
Driving lane to the rim. Make the pass and trust your teammate. Right play wrong execution.

he did f*** up in waiting so long to go. down 1 you should to get into it fast and not hold for the last shot because if you miss and foul worst case you still have a chance to tie.
refs missed a travel on gobert that led to a france 3 too which hurt. they also f***ed france on that shotclock reset. bad officiating throughout the entire tournament really.

I disagree personally
When the shot clock is turned off you go for the win and take the result either way
I can see your point in fouling and jacking up a three to tie it but Gobert wasn’t in the paint so it was as good off a shot as they were going to get
Just have to live with it

yeah I get the philosophy, just personally think it's better to have 2 opportunities
The 3 missed FT’s in a row hurt a lot as well
They could have scored 6 points but only scored 4
Then the last FT as well

Another reason I don’t think it works in FIBA is that intentional fouling is 2 shots and possession
Correct me if I’m wrong ?

nah you can late game foul just have to make a play at the ball

Idk what to really think. Luka for all his facilitating still had a rough game shooting.
France were pretty unbelievable in shooting 3’s, Fournier the french b****** especially. Gobert is a god cause he doesn’t leave the paint either end.
It’s probably a bad look in France that it was that close in the end but Slovenia played really hard just didn’t have that skill to execute.
Ah well, I can see Luka beating Australia for bronze pretty easily.
