romeo has only played 50 games and is entering his 3rd year. idk why you seem to have trouble grasping why someone would rather play young guys on a team that is no chance of contending instead of retreads like lou will. it is literally better for the future of the team if nesmith and romeo play as many minutes as possible around the jays and lou would only slow that process.

because the team isn't as far off as you think. with health that team is top 5 last year and this year they bring back horford and get rid of s*** players like kemba and TT which is major addition by subtraction. let a guy in brooklyn get injured and the team could very well contend for a spot out of the east.
