I figured out how to not make the guy pay for everything but also keep my pride in tact, which is to just take initiative (like saying I’ll cover or grabbing tickets for something)

I’m still gonna end it if we’re out on a date and the guy brings up the word “split”

Yeah and i always have been but i invest a lot into the person I’m in a relationship with too so i guess i can be both independent yet also reliant in some cases? Sounds weird typing it lol

I do most things alone or with my dogs but I’d be lying if sometimes I didn’t want someone to hang out and bullshit with. I have family/friends i talk to on a fairly regular basis but that’s different
