USA lost to Nigeria and Australia back to back cos of fundamentals even tho they have the best 12 players ?
I hate USA and I hate Spain
turn that frown upside down
So my argument is that AAU provides a forum for already good/elite prospects to show out and accumulate offers, and your argument is that it's more of a developmental program to develop players into top prospects
I personally feel like my argument happens on a much larger scale, a fella like me who follows recruiting already knew a pretty large number of the best names in this EYBL tournament before any of them played a single game, but how many unknown guys worked their way into the elite conversation?
It happens on a larger scale to you because you don’t know those players until they are top prospects.
Bringing up EYBL constantly is proof of that. That’s the big AAU tournament that the public cares about. But like I said, that’s small compared to the AAU careers of prospects at every level.
There are underclassmen who play AAU, develop, and then earn their name during the high school season

They can though if they perform. I can’t imagine a player going unnoticed because no one is there to see him.

Duarte hasn’t even played in the summer league yet
He’s a 3-4 years college player and 24years old. His argument was nba players only spend 9 months in college
i mean that just seems like a shallow way to a***yze the statement and situation especially when he's right, our development system is inferior, it's why a team of superior players and athletes are in a dog fight with the spanish team right now.
He couldve said it differently is all. Sometimes that makes the world of a difference
