not sure how it would work...maybe allow the athletes to see the questions beforehand and choose which ones to answer or something. journalists gonna get their takes off anyways
guarantee you if all sports eliminated media interviews and replaced them with more commercials nobody would give a s*** tho. every once in a while somebody says some dumb s*** but most answers are completely generic and uninteresting
I’m 100% against that first option. That’s essentially censorship and I wouldn’t feel comfortable them having veto powers. Even if they heard the question and say no comment it’s better than not even hearing it.
Anecdotally I’d rather hear the players and coaches after the game. Gives better insight to them even with generic answers. I’d definitely rather that over the added commercials for sure
