not to mention who really gives af about media interviews. it's just another shameless way to capitalize off of the sport that could easily be replaced with anything else
Thatās not what Iām saying at all. Iām not at all talking about whether they can get depressed etc when statistically they are proven to be more susceptible
My argument is that they knowingly get into this sport when they know what the media pressure is like. Is it correct of course not but if you know you enter a tournament you have to do the obligations. Which is why I respected Osaka withdrawing cause she wasnāt up for it.
The point of money is that companies like ESPN etc pay an awful lot of money to broadcast the sport and to get ROI which can be the useless media interviews but itās engagement that they need to turn profit. You canāt say itās pointless when thatās what makes the salary cap what it is lmao.
