Deelights_Bruh this isn’t the first time we’ve seen jazz fall short in the offs. This like the 3rd year in a row. Gobert can’t stay on the floor in the offs when it matters. And then you have bad defenders every where else.
Gobert btw wasn’t played off the floor.
The rest off the Jazz couldn’t defend so he had to defend the perimeter and the rim.
If I’m being honest he didn’t do anything wrong defensively

Houston did spank them during Capela’s time as starter didn’t they? I seem to remember that exact strategy (throw Rubio at James, play his left, and funnel him to help) getting blown up

He’s generational defensively but there is a limit to what he can do
There is more of an issue of the other Jazz defenders getting blown by and he’s caught in the middle

Why
the supply chain issues are real, a port in china may have a covid break out and then shut down the whole port for weeks delying those shipments for weeks and letting the storage there just sit, which raises the price cause less storage space blah blah. Same thing in America but with labour shortage and not enough storage being moved out and transportation labour shortage with not enough people wanting to drive trucks and s***
