Bruh this isn’t the first time we’ve seen jazz fall short in the offs. This like the 3rd year in a row. Gobert can’t stay on the floor in the offs when it matters. And then you have bad defenders every where else.
Gobert btw wasn’t played off the floor.
The rest off the Jazz couldn’t defend so he had to defend the perimeter and the rim.
If I’m being honest he didn’t do anything wrong defensively
We off meat bro
chicken
i mean why wouldn't u aggressively guard up on shooters and lean on your generationally great defender to cover up mistakes
5 out the only way to beat them and not many teams can do that
they should’ve adjusted accordingly instead of pressing so hard lol
But ur right. Can we stop gassing their other defenders now.
Shipping containers cost like 3x as much as they used to. I know Ashley furniture is paying 30k per container to bring their furniture over. On top of that, there’s currently 100 cargo ships waiting to dock in California
Why
This is cap
They have 6 players that can go for 20 a night
They definitely have enough fire power.
They aren’t stars though. When a playoff game is inevitably close they only have a single person they can reliably turn to

Houston did spank them during Capela’s time as starter didn’t they? I seem to remember that exact strategy (throw Rubio at James, play his left, and funnel him to help) getting blown up

I agree but I don’t like this argument.

He didn’t do anything wrong
but defend Mann and Reggie on a switch and protect the rim against guards. Got cooked on the perimeter several times too

Similar to what they used to say about my bucks

1.5 tbh jordan Clarkson might give them something.

Jordan clarkson
He didn’t do anything wrong

But that’s not his job
He shouldn’t have to defend at the perimeter and at the rim
He’s generational defensively but there is a limit to what he can do
There is more of an issue of the other Jazz defenders getting blown by and he’s caught in the middle

they couldn’t score as well as they can now back then.
Why
Covid is raising overseas shipping costs and there aren’t enough workers and/or trucks to unload the ships
Mans scored 17 straight and turned to Klay-ups in the second round. And he’s a high volume scorer.
1.5 tbh jordan Clarkson might give them something.
He lost hella steam in the second half of the season. Rose was a better 6 man than him no capo
Why
the supply chain issues are real, a port in china may have a covid break out and then shut down the whole port for weeks delying those shipments for weeks and letting the storage there just sit, which raises the price cause less storage space blah blah. Same thing in America but with labour shortage and not enough storage being moved out and transportation labour shortage with not enough people wanting to drive trucks and s***

man i dont remember that far back
