The shot making actually makes him one of the league's most valuable guards imo, not going to put him in Luka's tier yet but he's certainly on his way there. You really can't put him in an uncomfortable position defensively because he can literally get a bucket from anywhere, it's an unbelievable gift and one of the great advantages in the league today imo

Juzang is fire but he's really slow and not incredibly athletic so I worry about his pro prospects. Think he could carve himself a Doug McDermott like role but that's really his ceiling for me

Fox and Monk was just an insane backcourt. The speed and shot making from those two was an absolute joy to watch

I didn’t realize how much value is in the defensive counting stats until I saw some of the scores ESPN were projecting for dudes like Dejounte Murray

i actually think jokic wont have as crazy of a season this year cuz they are gonna be really mindfull of his minutes like try to cap it at 32 a night and give him some rest days so hes fresher for the playoffs

Yeah I definitely feel you on that, there are just some dudes that are built more for college ball and watching them with an NBA mindset is really doing them a disservice. I try to keep that to a minimum, like I found myself enjoying Iowa's games last year mainly because of Garza even though I didn't think they had a single pro prospect on that team

Undersized guards and goofy big men are two of the great joys of college basketball
