unusually cold winter and unusually sedentary population drew down reserves + unproductive year for renewables (abnormally low wind and dry climate) + powerful political and economic disincentives for building out "dirty" energy capacity on continent + fires in russian oil fields limiting capacity + russia's increased domestic demand from their own drawn down reserves
or its inflation showing up in commodities ie not transitory

ok help me get my logic right here
if this situation lasts for the next few months as they're saying, multiple industries business will be forced to reduce output or just close down shop because not doing so wouldn't be economically sensible right? so we can expect more disruption in our supply chains and increased inflation even here since we're linked to them right?

You're Miami Heat looking nice. I like the moves they made in the offseason.
Think we might have a nice year hopefully

short answer's yes
UK already had to subsidize a fertilizer manufacturer to keep them operating
Sitting here wondering how much the energy consumption of our s***posting costs
UK already had to subsidize a fertilizer manufacturer to keep them operating
not even for the fertilizer either, the purified CO2 byproduct of the process is essential for the food supply chain to keep working
world's so interesting
