If this was a new accusation against Trump or one against Bernie this would get wall to wall coverage on CNN and MSNBC

So apparently Biden is pretty serious about (or at least his campaign is throwing it out there to see the response it gets) choosing Catherine Cortez Masto as his VP selection. Anyone have any thoughts on this? Based off a quick skim of her policy positions she seems like absolute trash in terms of foreign policy at minimum. If not terrible in domestic too.

As far as electorally though, I think she is about as trash as you can get. She truly seems like the female equivalent of Time Kaine imo. Hyper boring/bland moderate, establishment to the core, that also doesn't even get you an advantage in a battle ground state (anybody that thinks Nevada is still a battle ground is dumb/uninformed).

Trump has had accusers in the double-digits come forward just since he has been in office. Not a single one has received “wall-to-wall” coverage, and most of them were barely acknowledged at all by the big outlets.

If there is actually any meat to this story, you’re going to see it everywhere as soon as she is vetted.

That's not true, the majority of Trump's newer accusations came during the 2016 election cycle, the ones that came during his presidency like the accusations that he forcibly kissed a former Miss USA contestant, were in fact heavily covered by the mainstream news outlets.

The only somewhat recent incident surrounding Trump’s countless sexual assault accusations that really got somewhat heavy coverage was that teen that he allegedly raped, and that was mostly because she was actually trying to take legal action.

Even outlets that are overtly hostile to Biden only started running with this 2 days ago.

Dude this is just from last year, this was covered heavily, whether you want to say it was because an actual video was involved or not that doesn't change the fact that it received attention.

Lmao, first off how is her accusation "dubious"? She's a former Biden staffer and has told her family about the incident when it allegedly happened in the 1990s. Not only that, but the first people she reached out to were those from Times Up and other former presidential candidates, not TMZ or even Buzzfeed.
