how to respond to the narrative that "coronavirus is just like the flu and were overreacting"
ive just been saying the death rate is so much higher..
also we need to keep healthcare infrastructure up.. if so many more ppl are coming to the hospital there's a huge influx, healthcare system will collapse if there's 2 many ppl

its not that people are overreacting or not, its just that normally nobody cares about disease prevention at all so the reaction is kinda wild. but the argument though should be in favor of universal health care because preventative care will be what minimizes outbreaks like this

Latinos and Asians historically don’t vote, and even then Biden is winning among them. And you and I both know young people choose not to vote, they’re not being prohibited in any meaningful way. I wanted Bernie to win to but this represents a failure for them to show up enough, not something preventing them

What are you talking about? Young voter turnout increased and bernie is winning with latinos

The young vote increased, but still got overwhelmed by the boomer vote. The point is, there isn’t really any indication that they were suppressed, and even while overachieving compared to most years, they seriously let Bernie down.

The biggest demo that is generally suppressed went for Biden.

Bernie is winning latino voters in like every state so far and asian americans in some, and youth turnout is up, just being swamped by historical boomer turnout lmao

why do people feel the need to constantly lie?

  • Mar 15, 2020

also the DNC can supress whoever they want in order to achieve desired results.

Youth voter turnout is increased since last time, but it’s still not enough. The youth is still outnumbered by those over 45 in EVERY state, even the ones that Bernie won. Also, most Hispanics in some states voted for Biden, not in Texas and California tho

  • Mar 15, 2020

Also that “Hispanic votes are for bernie in every state” isn’t true. Who’s lying then

I said “young people choose not to vote” which I agree is kinda oversimplifying it. But my point from them remains because the majority of young people still do not vote

  • Mar 15, 2020

Also Biden won with Hispanic voters in Virginia and North Carolina, so someone respond to this post to let the guy who blocked me know he’s wrong lol
