It isn’t over because Biden is a stronger candidate
It’s over because no matter how hard we try, we just can’t convince people our age to go outside and actually vote

I mean i’ve seen a lot of data to suggest that the youth did turn out generally more than usual at 20ish%s but the olds came out more than usual as well, which made it seem like a negligible difference (especially since these are two ideologically opposes groups generally)

i read this wild theory that in key states, likely bc of Bloomberg’s ridiculous ad buys, swayed a chunk of older supporters who had never voted before (a group of ppl sanders has been specifically courting and empowering this cycle)

and while he had a coalition of these newly empowered older voters first participating in politics - at the end of the day, they are boomers. the initial disheartening prolly came from just seeing bloomberg the billionaire everywhere, but there’s all these anecdotes from that specific group of would-be sanders boomer voters, that ended up last minute jumping ship once they got fed the media narrative of Biden winning since ST. which basically made it a self fulfilling prophecy

interesting theory, especially if you acknowledge the primary reason bloomberg was running was just mainly self interest and stopping sanders, and how those ad buys coupled wit the “biden surge” freaked out these new (boomer) voters that were fair weather. idk how much effect that could’ve drastically had but i’m sure it factored in in ways we don’t realize

did y’all see this one yet

first off - right at the beginning biden snaps on who asked the question, then proceeds to go on the most meandering and confusing ramble of all time where idek what the f*** he was trying to say

this one and the michigan union, these are just simple questions every politician gets asked ever and this mans brain just shuts down

Why are yall worried about Biden being articulate when the current president is literally an idiot lol

bruh before watching it i’m like “oh classic joe and his gaffes, he’s just gonna stutter a lot 🤣🤣🤣🤣” but it’s clear not all his synapses connect anymore he can’t even form coherent sentences unless he’s reading them off the teleprompter (even then he struggled reading the sheet of paper!) wtf america

trump is a bumbling baby when it comes to actually discussing policy (which Joe can’t even seem to do) but the main thing Trump has with these debates is hes “charismatic,” can “think” on his feet/improv answers and is going to obviously come at biden’s most exposed weaknesses just like he did hillary.

it’s all shaping up the same, he’s gonna pull the ultimate reversal now that impeachment was a bust and use that Hunter s*** to paint him as just as corrupt as hillary. and joe won’t know wtf to say or do

the last decades of politics have been a wild thing to witness and is honestly very interesting to dissect if it weren’t for the fact that every layer you pull back just makes you more and more depressed

    JIK

Bernie needs to do something like this in the next debate:

    Bernie: Racist says what

    Biden: What?

    Bernie: You're a racist

Obama’s influence was pretty much gone by the next election. It’s just a really unreliable demographic.

f*** the DNC, Biden, and the whole system. still anybody not voting for a Democrat in 2020 can't call themselves progressives.

this country will be conservative for the next 30 years if a republican chooses another Supreme Court member

if you plan to vote progressive in the next 5 elections and want their policies to be successful, sadly you gotta vote now too

America needs to fail for the world to get better. F*** all y'all.

You had your chance. Now you're going down with 4 more years of Trump.

yeah at this point and time at least, obama had a bigger turnout too i’m sure bc who wouldn’t want to vote for the first place president? especially if it’s ur first time voting too
