    Biden doesn't win against trump.

I don’t disagree, but Sanders losing Michigan is a bad look for his electability argument too. Dems need to win the rust belt back from Trump. It used to be believed that Sanders was the guy to do that, but it looks like Biden is the stronger candidate there.

This was the video that really woke me up to yang. At first i thought he’s like a modern bernie but then i looked up his plans and it’s rather disappointing..

p sure this has alienated a p sizable part of his fan base tho, no?

Yang’s? Eh, maybe. The Yang Gang, judging from the subreddit at least, really didn’t like Bernie much and didn’t seem to have much of an issue with Biden. I think they were probably 50/50 on who to endorse

yeah i never thought they (his “core”) were big on bernie, always from the outside they seemed like they were always voting the man/policies rather than an already established political movement/establishment - which is why i figured he was just gon sit it out and try again later, but this obviously angling for some cabinet position.

prolly saw everyone else getting one just for dropping out and felt left out lmao

i think the support for biden comes from the fact he'll only go for one term. meaning whoever wins this year leaves 2024 up for grabs. plus the biden vp murmurs from months ago

who is really doing this? if anything i’d blame warren for splitting the “movement” from the jump and then shifting that base away from (allegedly) the ideas and policies they believed in. i think that has been very detrimental but i don’t think at the point we were at that she was siphoning THAT much directly from would-be sanders voters

Bernie might still close the gap to around 7 pts in Michigan, win Washington, ND and maybe Idaho. Then with the town hall next week absolutely destroy Biden and hope that he has big gaffe, and also count on Trump/FoxNews to bring negative ads to Biden that affect democratic primary voters.

I don't see how else this might go.. idk
