He is a goat speaker tho, that’s why he was the frontrunner until last Tuesday. And Biden is almost as old as him so age isn’t the issue

Bernie isn’t Obama when it comes to speaking.

Bernie isn’t Obama when it comes to speaking.

Neither was hillary and she became the nominee. The point is he’s a good speaker, at least good enough to inspire massive support

but your speech needs to be adjusted to gain new voters, that's the point

bernie doesn't need to lie, but he needs to frame it better

Bernie doesn't deserve to be president if he loses to Alzheimer Biden.

Black people and moderators aren’t turned off by the way he speaks, they just don’t care about his message in itself. Also Biden was Obama’s deputy so that makes him reliable to them

    What she means by this

    https://twitter.com/yumcoconutmilk/status/1236070996286885888

Bernie doesn't speak about race the same way a person like AOC does. That's why these "identitarian" Blacks aren't as drawn to him.

Bernie himself isn't doing anything wrong, given his policies will affect Black voters the most.

How Kyle isn't in charge of Bernie's campaign since the beginning is beyond me.

problem with this is that it assumes that these elections are fair, and that the DNC would ever allow bernie to become its candidate.

the hilarious part of this election is that social democrats lack the mass bass for a traditional labor party so entryism into the democrats is the most political will they can muster.

you know for a fact that if Biden wins against Bernie and then loses against Trump the movement will only grow again as it did compared to 2016... it's sad that we will have to wait another 4 more years but that's it, M4A wasn't a thing, it is now. the movement will only grow, not slow down.. it might take 4 more years tho

Ok and she got killed by Trump, someone who is an impeccable public speaker and control of a room.

In order to counteract public speaking, you gotta have good policies tho..... which Bernie has and Hillary didn’t and Biden surely doesn’t

Hillary did not lose to trump because of her poor speaking skills, she lost because of her support of TPP. If Bernie wants to win he just has to convince people that Biden isn’t the safe choice

Biden proves he isn't a safe choice all by himself, people just don't give a f***

Trump is a monster on stage. Dude just is. Even Bernie is going to get it difficult against Trump.

Stupid dems keep saying "look at Trump, he can't even say a coherent sentence" when it's completely the opposite. He controls the entire mood of the room, knows how to read it, always controls the narrative.

Biden will be absolutely murdered. Trump isn't going to attack him, he is going to act condescendent and say "hey America, I'm being serious right now, I won't attack our fellow American here because look at him... he really doesn't look good, he should be in his home, spending time with his family, we shouldn't be doing this, joe is a good man"

i can see it a mile away, dude is a goat of the political stage, doesn't matter if you hate him

will win by a landslide, it's going to be ugly

dont really see how thats true considering whats happening in the world lately, the defeat of Corbyn in the UK didnt lead to a surge in his movement but instead the defeat of it and the surge of reactionary nationalism. you can also look historically at how the defeats of social democrats in the 80s (Jesse Jackson and in '72 (McGovern) led to waves of reaction.

the rise in popularity of socialism in the US following 2016 was due to the prolonged effects of the global recession and its explosion into violence in the form of the BLM movement. if the revolutionary socialist left wants to maintain its momentum they need to continue real deep organizing and party building around key issues like police violence, immigration, open borders, and the anti-imperialist movement; because there's no hope left in the democratic party.

Apparently the DNC wants to change the upcoming debate into a town hall, so instead of a 1 on 1 debate, they are just going to answer questions from an audience.

the way they protect Joementia is just amazing. my goodness.

well if bernie doesn’t get the nom this is surely splintering the party, be that 4 more years or longer

the difference is that at least the Labour Party had genuine roots in the working class that the DNC lacked. if you want more examples of this phenomenon, look at how social democracy has failed in India and has now become fascism, or how the overthrow of socialism in Eastern Europe has turned into fascism.

4 more years of Trump isn't going to reinvigorate the movement but its possible that other world events could make socialism relevant again, probably the next capitalist crisis which will likely turn into another large scale armed conflict.
