Long post but you asked for it:
Healthcare: Trump ran on Universal healthcare coverage. When he got into office he actually lost millions of Americans their healthcare coverage. 30-45K Americans die every year because they don't have adequate healthcare coverage. Half of bankruptcies in the US are based on medical care. Life expectancy is going down in the US.

Economy: One good thing is that the stock market continues to rise but this does not impact the average American or reflect them. Wages have been stagnant for decades while cost of living continues to rise. Half of Americans live paycheck to paycheck, not able to build any type of wealth nor prepare for a financial emergency. Trump cut taxes for wealthy people and they are able to invest in the stock market but this type of economic theory does not help the average American. The economy looks like it's doing well but it's only doing well for those who were already doing well before Trump.

Debt: Trillions of dollars in student loan debt and credit card debt, only rising under Trump. This ties in to the economy. How can the economy continue to function when most of our citizens are in debt?

Foreign Policy: Trump has continued the same war tactics as Obama despite railing him for it. He promised less war but continues to bomb more countries, killing innocent civilians in the process. He raised the military budget but over 80 billion dollars even though we spend more on the military than the next 10 countries combined. We have problems at home like broken infrastructure, lead-filled water, etc but he prioritized spending on a bloated military. With 80 billion dollars every American citizen could go to college for free.

Climate Change: Despite all the scientists warning of the dangers of climate change, he ignores that reality. He cut regulations on companies and allows them to pollute at will. Increased wildfires in California, increased natural disasters likes Tornadoes, hurricanes, and floods.

National Disasters: He failed Puerto Rico in his disaster relief effort. He did not send aid fast enough and blamed the people of Puerto Rico for having a bad outcome after the storm.

Gun policy and domestic terrorism: Rises in mass shootings, rises in white domestic terrorism, lack of action on guns. I don't care what your views on guns are, would you sit by and do nothing? Nothing at all?

Immigration: Still no wall, still have immigrants coming in. The only difference is that now tensions between citizens and immigrants are rising. There is already a rise in white domestic terrorism. Separations at the border are very reminiscent of FDR and internment camps and should not be allowed to stand. Its a human rights violation. Even if you want a strong border, you have to honor the human rights of all people.

Corruption and "Draining the Swamp": He ran on exposing and eradicating the corruption in DC but he filled his cabinet with the same people Bush would have picked. He has not exposed anything and actually has become part of the swamp he railed against.

Cultural impact of Trump: This one will cause controversy but it's true. His rhetoric on race has impacted the our safety as a nation as evident by the rise in white domestic terrorism. Race relations continue to worsen as they did under Obama. Relations between genders has worsened as well. A lot more women don't trust men anymore and vice versa. Trump has further divided this country along race, religion, and gender/sexual orientation.

Some good things: Moved us away from WWIII by trying diplomacy with Russia and North Korea. Exposed the media as fraudulent and reactionary. I mentioned the stock market earlier (congrats rich people). Encouraged political activism and independent research on political issues. Exposed the trade deals of the 90s as harmful for the country and at least pretends to be protectionist with regard to American workers. Still has not brought more jobs to the US from abroad though.

    Women don’t trust men?

In my stance on the environment, no.

His cabinet had rolled back so many progressive policies that protected the environment during the Obama administration. Especially letting resource companies seep into formely protected grounds in national parks.

Another is rolling back small farmer protection from big meat companies such as Tyson. They sued his administration cause as soon as their protection were rolled back they were under stress again from Tyson. I've had a friend tell me what the horrors they do to their employees for that company.

Finally some good answers are coming in,thanks!

So pretty much Trump isn't that much of an improvement over Obama but will most likely repeat in 2020?

he can't be this dumb there has to be some underlining motive for why he's running so yea you might be right.

the crazy thing is that he almost ran in 2016 and optics were much better for him then. tons of good press too after his speech at democratic convention. But him being a billionaire is a bigger red flag now and he basically killed any public goodwill for his campaign with the heavy ad spending and interfering with Bloomberg news. He’s supposed to be the smart and Democrat mega rich businessman candidate. An anti trump candidate and at least the interfering is a high visibility doofus trump move and represents all the negative connotations of a businessman candidate.

poor read of the current political climate and momentum, dumb decisions, probably riding desperate desire to become president. boy f***ed up
