    Young D

I really can't fathom how young people in South Carolina seemed to have voted for Biden at a pretty decent clip.

Need someone from South Carolina to explain this s*** to me.

The South is almost like a different country. They are quite conservative, even the younger people. Super religious, not down with some of the progress we've made as a country. Biden reflects their ideology. Its going to be hard for Bernie to win anywhere in those States. Im speaking as someone from the South.

remember when 538 predicted clinton would win in a landslide in 2016

    Obama

I mean, I would understand that with old voters who will be voting no matter what and just chose Obama's VP cause they know him.

But young voters are far from a guarantee to be voting. Usually they only vote when they feel strongly compelled by a candidate.

Yup. There were a lot of poor to very bad state polls for Bernie this whole week. He's been doing great with national polling though.

The Dem primary will come down to bloc voting between Latinos, (primarily Mexicans) for Bernie and Black people (particularly Southerners) for Biden, as whites are basically split. Bernie's saving grace might be that Bloomberg and other stiffs are peeling votes off Biden.

One win for Biden changes the whole race?

Bernie leading in almost every super tuesday state and you’re already nominating Biden after one victory

    Ever

The big key here is that Biden is wayyyyy behind in money, advertisements, and campaigning in Super Tuesday states. He's been putting so many resources into SC because he knew it was a must win.

That being said, this is going to give him a lot of free advertisement, because the media will be talking up his chances of mounting a come back for the next 2 days straight.

Just gotta hope that the other Southern states that vote on Super Tuesday don't get influenced to vote Biden because of this win.

North Carolina, Virginia, and Texas (Bernie's doing good with the Latino vote here, but the black vote could be a big problem) were all polling SUPER close.
