    Durkio World

There's three types of healthcare systems.

    1. Market Based
    2. Socialist
    3. Pseudo Market Corporate Socialism

We are in the 3rd right now. 2 and 3 are trash. My argument does hold up. We arent a free economy.

Also, other countries have tons of problems with their s***ty socialist run healthcare systems and cant sustain themselves which is why they borrow tons from banks and incur massive debt + high taxes

s***ty socialist run healthcare systems that outperform us. Be a slave to the market if you want, thats your choice. bye now

All you know about Bernie is how he protrays himself in the media. In a general sense he’s just another rich white politician

Lmao what? Have you not seen his track record?

Except relatively he's not rich lmao. I know he's been espousing an overall very consistent message for decades, has almost always if not always stood with the working class people and defended them from corporate greed, takes no money from billionaires or large donors, doesn't do corporate fundraisers or have a super pac.

if something about bernie was off, id have to imagine that after 2 presidential campaigns we would have heard it by now.

Why don't we privatize the firefighters?

The people who can pay for better fire fighting service should get better protection from fires, and if you don't have a plan that covers your area or your needs, well the out of pocket expenses are gonna go way up.

i know you're joking but i hope you also know a large amount of right-economic people would be 100% for this

there are a lot of minarchists/libertarians/ancaps/etc who will argue to the end of the earth that real capitalism has never been tried because of this actually. i'm holistically against it obv but it's an interesting void to look into.

You know he got that primarily off becoming a best selling author right?

Nothing to the other points though?

yeah, libertarians are probably my least favorite people next to fascists.

it really is a fascinating belief system and i can never tell how seriously to take the people who say things like that although most of them just babble on about taxation being theft and dont get much deeper than that

This isn't even close to true. Why do speak on things without doing research?

“Of all the potential 2020 candidates,” Goodkind writes, “Sanders has taken in the most money from women, raising about $17.1 million in itemized contributions, or 40% of his total funds.

Sanders, The New York Times reported this weekend, “has collected more money from Latino voters than any other candidate in the Democratic field, raising three times as much from the group as Barack Obama did in 2008.”

In another poll from a crucial state, California, conducted by the Public Policy Institute of California, 39% of Latinos in California said they prefer Sanders, compared to 21% for Biden and 5% for Warren.

And are AOC and Ilhan Omar 20-30 year old males? What about the people of west virginia, where he won every district in 2016?

I think a lot of people prefer and like people that are popular for various reasons. But Bernie does resonate a lot with people because of the plans and talking points that he has. He may just be a little too past his time to be able to implement all this.
