its a vocal minority within the union tbh, but it exists. the nice thing about the IBT is that we're probably one of the most left-wing unions in the USA.

both veterans too so they say they wont vote for bernie cuz he's too socialist lmfao
theyd prolly excommunicate me from the family if they knew i was about 100 miles to bernies left
have no doubt my dad would kick me outta the family if he figured out I'm pro-Bernie
they doing the same type of s*** smh?
Chicago teacher protests last year had sus s*** too. Not closely related to bernie but bosses of Chicago Teachers Union taking a moment selfishly for themselves. Looks great from outside but teachers are already the highest paid in the nation with a dysfunctional education system and a $28 billion pension debt. The strikes called for an increase in pension payouts but likely only for tier 1 teachers on the eve of retiring
This is going to throw the city into even more debt and only so selfish old folks can game the system for themselves and manipulated it to look like a noble cause. Honestly made me really skeptical of unions but more an issue with bad leadership
Van Jones exactly right, dumbass Booker and Kamala Dropped out b4 votes were casted, could've been in Amy's position

everytime i hear about some unions it always seems like theres a lot difference between the union leaders/bosses and the actual members

lol it’s that bad? what is he, super conservative?
he was always a republican, supported George W, Romney, McCain, he's ramped it way way up since '16. Thinks every Dem. is a socialist, but plays the " I hate trump the person/tweeting, love the policies" game.
For him its all about the stock market & his 401k

I worked with the teachers union in Florida during election season and they wanted to break up the Seminole gaming monopoly bc they thought it would increase school funding for "non-native" kids.
(luckily it didnt happen)
these unions aint s***, dawg
everytime i hear about some unions it always seems like theres a lot difference between the union leaders/bosses and the actual members
Yeah def more of a leadership issue. They know how to use their optics to their benefit with shady stuff
