thought Yang was gonna stay in the race for a little longer tbh

he said on podcasts and stuff early on that if he didn't have a clear path that he'd probably drop out and endorse bernie

no one has ever won after not getting at least 3rd in either of the first 2 states

Andrew Yang is set to end his bid for president on Tuesday night, a campaign official confirms. Expect an announcement at his primary-night party.

    confirmed from NYT

    Holy s***
Really thought he’d cling on to the bitter end

Time to bring the progressive vote to Bernie while the moderates are divided

Highly doubt any Yang supporters moving to Bloomberg. That’ll probably be a boost for Bernie

realistically i wonder how much support yang lost simply by matter of his audience being mostly from different parties. can't win a primary if your supporters aren't registered in the party which votes for the nominee

I’m at work right now but I watched a bit of CNNs coverage on break. Most of the major urban areas in Southern New Hampshire have yet to report. So he should be able to hopefully maintain his lead or grow it

Actually, New Hampshire’s primary is only semi closed so independents can vote, as long as they’re not registered republicans or something. And I don’t think that many registered republicans support all of yangs liberal appeal. I think he’s just had too little real life support from actual adults as opposed to internet folks
