I really don't understand how buttigieg is getting the traction he's getting. I legitimately see no redeeming qualities in him as a candidate at all
He's a centrist who appeals to everything we've been taught to laud in liberal politics, and people are really getting cold feet with Biden.
If these debates weren't 45 second soundbites I think he'd be out of here already. His GOP talking points are so easily refutable, not to mention before last debate the media never pushed back on him at all.
Not only is he a "pragmatic" politician who speaks really well (knows seven languages!) but he's "from the midwest", "served in the armed forces", cares about the deficit, studied at harvard and oxford, and his vague ass appeals to some sense of duty and democracy appeal well to people who literally couldn't care less who's the nominee as long as it isn't trump or the lunatic socialist.
oh and he's young and gay! so he must be progressive and will appeal to the younger crowd!
I hate trump. he's an awful human being and a terrible president. but he's the logical conclusion to the system we have in place. If it wasn't trump it'd be someone else.
Pete tho. ive got a special kind of hate for that rat f***.

Because WE as a NATION need to ask ourselves one thing..
Do we want a president who will continue to tarnish the office of this great nation or someone who will bring CHANGE when it is most needed?

*My name is Pete Buttigieg and I approve this message.
also if i have to hear this f***er ever utter the phrase "the american majority" again i may kms
Bloomberg is literally buying this whole f***ing election and the media refuses to vet him
Let dems f*** around and nominate him
this race really about to be between bernie, ratface, amy, and mini mike
nah, amy is done too
Still have yet to see a single mainstream media outlet report that racist Bloomberg tape
i feel like bernie is gonna get a majority of delegates but not enough to become the nominee due to several candidates's refusal to drop out. it'll get sent to a contested convention where bloomberg can pay off enough superdelegates to win the nomination. it'll be an extremely brutal process that will probably depress young leftist turnout and get trump reelected. it's extremely important that bernie wins not just by an impressive margin, but by a strong enough margin to avoid a contested convention, because if it goes there, he's not going to be the nominee.

do you not know why he's running? the entire point is for him to be able to buy the nomination at a contested convention. he's obviously not gonna win a majority of delegates, that's not his goal.

Hard to make a case when he has like 2% of the vote, if that

If someone gets a "majority" (majority means more than 50%) of delegates then they win the nomination.
I think you mean "plurality".
