She was on council of foreign relations?
just another puppet tbh look at her policies
I have to respectfully disagree with this. At the end of the day she's still a politician, I agree, but she's certainly proved herself to be an outlier within her party and the political establishment. She is not perfect but I like her more than most of the rest of the party.
I was just curious what you like about her.
Personally, I think she is pretty much a one-issue candidate running behind foreign policy, and her position on foreign policy lowkey sucks. Outside of “regime change wars!” there isn’t much substance there, and everything else in her platform is basically a watered down version of something that someone else is actually passionately campaigning for.
Plus, the whole Modi thing is a HUGE yikes.
I can understand why people don't like her, and I think it's fair criticism. But I don't agree that her foreign policy is one sided; she has a willingness to talk to opposition leaders which would otherwise be considered taboo without thinking on them as inhuman for not having "liberal" values. She has called out US intelligence for wrongdoings which no other politician has acknowledged, even Bernie. I agree she uses the "regime change war" soundbyte too much but her foreign policy goes far beyond that, especially for middle eastern countries. Plus she is willing to stand up to domestic opposition and establishment wholeheartedly which is rare; even Bernie has yet to do it to the extent she has imo. I do agree her some of her policies are watered down, but I think she is ideologically in the right place and would follow suit down similar aligned candidate's policies. she is also willing to stand up to mega-conglomerates like Google, FB, etc. and challenge them on the correctly neutral grounds rather than explicitly political ones/for poltiical gain. i understand criticism of her and think it's fair but I think some of it is exaggerated.
Who cares about the popular vote or polls. Trump is winning 2020 because of the electrical college.

he might just be my least favorite person on the planet
Lmao Biden said he wouldn’t support legalizing marijuana because it’s a gateway d***
If Trump wants to win against Biden in the general he’s just gotta legalize it before the election. Biden would be put in a position of saying Trump made a mistake and would look like more of an out of touch old white guy than Trump

imagine if the trump administration ended up being the one who legalized marijuana
that said i kinda doubt it. i mean we've had the CBD oil/hemp thing but under sessions they pretty open about wanting to go after states with legalized recreational usage. i guess it's up in the air since sessions is gone now and all that, but with so much of congress either funded by big pharma or being reefer madness leftovers i kind of doubt we're gonna see it. maybe i'm wrong though
gonna be so much pandering come next year
next year? have you seen some of the s*** from Harris, Buttigieg, Warren, and Booker's campaigns
Both Biden and Pete have had what should be campaign killers in the past two days but unfortunately that's not going to happen.
Each state will legalize weed before the federal government legalizes it.
No they wont. Some will wait till it's nationalized and still protest

It's not really up in the air. Nobody wants to touch it nationally, including everyone running for president. They will just let states nullify federal laws. Even when sessions was AG, he wasnt allowed to truly prosecute anyone in states violating federal law when technically he should have

Yeah but this is like during a period of divided government. It wont get passed right now. This bill does too much to get through congress. This is all for show imo
Warren is a joke
"Elizabeth Warren doesn’t woo big donors, but two people who for years helped helm fundraising for Warren are organizing wealthy supporters for Warren behind the scenes." politico.com/news/2019/11/18/big-democratic-donors-elizabeth-warren-2020-071333

i highly doubt it will get through either but who knows, there's a chance I guess
