DwindlingSunUnnamed sources shouldn't be criteria for dismissing the legitimacy of a reporting. It is not a novel concept, its there to protect the source and they have every right to request it.
Jeff Goldberg is a very well regarded writer. And there are other journalists who have corroborated elements of the article too. Fox's own national security correspondent for instance.

Given its public knowledge that Trump did skip that visit to the cemetary citing bad weather, and given he immediately leapt to attacking John Kelly, its not hard to put two and two together and figure out he is most likely the source.

Trump's comment on Mccain and POWs, which he denied making, are easily found. We have what Mattis has said in the past. All in all there are a multitude of actions and remarks he's made against the military. These comments being attributed in the article are not out of character. And rightfully have been reported.
Nobody is expecting it to flip your diehard Fox news viewer. If they were to be flipped it would have happened long ago. The intended audience is military voters and the effect is evident.

Has no one pointed out that Biden had an ad responding to trump’s Atlantic “quote” within 12 hours? A televised ad. trump says enough stupid s*** upfront out of his own mouth on air that you dont need to go by second hand stories to make him look bad, he does it enough himself. i just think it's dumb and irresponsible to print stories based on "a guy familiar with a guy who was in the same room as a guy"/etc. (they do this with more than just trump). it generally doesn't add anything and just creates unprovable controversy whereas the same point could be made with his own words.

The Bureau of Labor reports that 76% of private sector jobs get PTO and nearly all government jobs get some form of paid leave. So, 90% was being too generous, but that would still put the number somewhere in the 80’s.
