Meant to say its the only battleground state thats within margin of error
You’re not gonna move Biden an inch to the left. He’s not even gonna attempt to do half of the s*** on his website.
This country needs him to win just so Trump doesn’t get 4 more years. That’s it. Be honest.

just something tangential which is kind of funny, there's a lot of far right people that want Biden to win over Trump because they think all media & activist groups will collapse and it'll just cause more accelerated DNC in-fighting instead of them having a dummy to pin everything on.

i mean yea. literally the country needs biden to win. there u go. u said it yourself
Imo, not speaking for anyone else, just myself, but
Biden is absolutely not the end goal of any actual progressive, otherwise they wouldn't be progressive.
I just see it as like, "cracking open the door" for possible progressivism in the next 4-8 years as opposed to trump boarding up and nailing all the doors shut and setting everyone on fire inside lol.
Unfortunately a lot of the older politicians (and most for that matter) are just ignorant to some of the more relevant or pressing issues, going on right now, and probably won't prioritize some of them (i.e. Pelosi, Biden, etc)
But I do think Biden will prioritize healthcare to some degree because he is proud of working on the ACA and it was personally insulting to him, im sure, when republicans and trump try to attack it and dismantle it.
Also he has a huge pressure if he's elected, to remedy the damage done by DT and the pandemic, so I'm sure those, going hand in hand, would prob be his main focus.
I'm not really hopeful of any guarantees because s***s f***ed but, if it happens, great.

i do think if biden loses it probably invites progressives to be a bigger wing of the party, as it sends the message moderate dems win primaries but not elections. it certainly puts democrats in a rough place where they need to reform their party. if they win with biden it does kind of cement the party as being maintainable under his type of politics. while i do think kamala and recent comments hurt biden's chances, given the state by state margins of 2016, i do think Biden still has a decent chance of winning even in spite of this. it'll be interesting to see develop regardless

With average dems, I don't really think Kamala hurts his chances, I'm sure her being a fairly young black and Indian woman inspires a good number of votes,
but obviously there's a big sentiment about her law enforcement past in general, we all know this by now
The thing I'm worried about is just how bad the postal service and mail at large is being attacked rn
I don't even wanna fight and argue w people any more (I might just be like "yall got it" anytime someone's on some wild s***)
I know who I'm voting for, and ima try to hold on to any shred of sanity i can

yeah, i don't think it really changes anything the majority of dem voters. but it definitely didn't inspire enthusiasm in additional sects which probably need the most encouragement. i think as far as cross-over or on-the-fence voters go idk if it helped a lot. on a per state basis her polling was just not very good (it was okay nationally but i dont think aiming at the popular vote is a good idea, see 2016 lol). gonna be weird seeing how parties develop over the next few years because of htis election

I think she was the best choice available, most recognizable=someone that people knew/qualified (senate and govt experience), plus its not just two white people up there like always except once
I don't really like them, but as far as optics for democrats i can say like "It makes sense why they picked ____, or did X,Y,Z..."

DNC in-fighting is the best thing to happen to the DNC

It will be pretty one-sided fighting when Biden wins, the centrists are going to openly tell the progressive wing “haha we don’t need you, f*** you.”
But they’re (predictably) stupid to think it’s better for them if Trump loses. 4,8,12 more years of Dems doing nothing for average working people is good for the far right in the long term yeah but 4 more years of McConnel and Trump packing the courts and it’s ball game. They’ll be mass deporting Latinos or some s***, god only knows.

actual far right people don't like trump or mcconnell, they think they're vestigial and don't get anything done or have ignored them in favor of typical conservatives.
Can they stop bringing him out

Yeah, I’ve had the displeasure of seeing some of their social media accounts.
