what makes you think kamala wouldve been more pro black than bernie? the fact that she locked up and pushed strict policies on a large number of black people in california or the fact that she'd been cozying up to corporate lobbyists and establishment donors long before her pres campaign started? youre outta pocket.

Kamala is literally scum of the earth. I didn't even mention her.

Imagine if your information was always with u. Social, house keys, car keys, debit card etc. passport. But all within some type of digital chip that could b implanted in your hand. Pm walk anywhere and never have to forget your belongings ever again.

    why you linking kamala acct

bernies response highlighted minority struggles better than her trying to call him out for not saying black enough. if bernies response ended your support for him i dont know what angle you are coming at

no other candidate is championing minority or black issues more than bernie. and any candidate that seriously puts reparations as one of their top policies is doing it for points. reparations will only ever be realistic at the municipal level. the main threat to americans and particularly minorities are corporations and a passive congress in their pocket.

My support for him ended a long time ago.

My blackness is central to my politics. I need my blackness and the state of blackness in my country specified and specifically dealt with without incorporating anybody else because of historical mistreatment, sidestepping & crumb-sharing of "inclusive" talk. I have to agree with Malcolm X in regards to his comments of "the negro" needing specifics.

When Black America understands anti-blackness as a framework that keeps black people near death & in extreme poverty and the context of that in American politics, then they would see through this B.S. talk.

This is coming from someone who has marched for DACA & signed petitions for Native American-specifics. Specific groups have specific needs that have to be separately addressed and dealt with. I do find it funny how people talk about reparations for American chattel slavery but sing a different tune after its been proposed to give reparations to LG couples & immigrants that are suffering under ICE. I don't have anything else to add to this discussion though, respectfully.

Id imagine if blackness were central to your politics, so would class. And if you don’t see efforts for public healthcare and college as a form of reparations then you have tunnel vision

A policy specifically addressing these for starters

    https://www.blackenterprise.com/african-american-wealth-zero-2053/

Bernie's economics are my favorite out of the front runners right now, but the "help everyone equally" talk is not cutting the mustard for me when one group statistically needs more assistance, and I'm concerned about more trickle down racial minority policies that end up once again with Black America not benefiting.

I want everyone out of poverty and for the capitalist system to be challenged in favor of helping everyone in poverty, however we need specific help as shown in the data.

    because of the welfare state

changing two of the most commodified institutions into public services isn’t enough?

I don't think anyone was really representing what I believed in other than Marianne Williamson but this country ain't ready for her radical ideas and too obsessed by her um esoteric tendencies which I didn't mind. Mike Gravel would have been another one I guess. Bernie, Tulsi and Warren all say some things I want but not what really needs to be changed so I stopped caring.
