been thinking about it more and despite the running narrative that “bernie supporters” are an unwavering stubborn voting bloc not worthy of resources , in theory they are obviously the most liable to be swayed in securing votes election cycle and post election loyalty

because it’s so policy based, literally just support the policies in some ways (most obviously M4A) and boom. no other “swing” voting groups have that boon, in that rarely any other collectives (suburbs, middle age, boomers, hell even really soft democrat/republicans) base their support on policy rather than perception.

it’s just mind numbing to me the strategy i am seeing and just the democratic party’s refusal to play with a full hand and instead just a few cards, hoping they win big

Democrats have typically been trying to resist being labeled as socialists or plutocrats. They dont want conservatives labeling them as socialists and they dont want ppl on the left labeling them plutocrats.

realistically, no. not a chance in the deepest depths of hell. Perot was quirky, charismatic and had very straightforward, simple policies that made sense to a lot of people.

also he was in a race where neither of the other two candidates were very polarizing. When you have. a polarizing candidate like Trump a 3rd party wont be successful. the polarization creates an us vs them mentality with no room for a 3rd party.
