So back in the 90s these european brothas called milli vanilli won BNA at the grammys. Come to find out their producer forced them to lipsync in the contract and they were exposed. The Grammy was given back, and ever since then every artist to win the award after them has had bad luck in music and/or life. Minus Mariah Carey of course

She hasn’t been on my radar like that, so I wasn’t aware of the details. I had a general idea of all of this though and expected her to go home with 1 or 2 but I deff expected a bit more balance between her, Lizzo and Lil Nas X. All three had crazy come ups. While Billie is huge, she also seemed the most lowkey of the three, with all the antics between Lizzo & Nas i was just conditioned for them to take home more.

Either way it was a weird but kinda pleasant surprise.
