idk whats more pretentious, the overall attitude, or this idea that you have somehow come to the right conclusion because you know the history, that there is some nuance to be had when israel is bulldozing down Palestinian homes or when IDF soliders are shooting Palestinians dead. And you can pretend thats not the case, but the first thing you said was "ive engaged with people in real life and they had no foundation." The implication is obvious. Certainly if people had any sort of "knowledge of the history" they would see how complicated this all is, and maybe next time they wont get so outraged when an IDF soldier kills a Palestinian kid.
