for the short interest to exceed the float shares had to have been borrowed and resold more than once so i guess they have to be repurchased more than once now. kind of unsure of the mechanics there
if they dont replenish they get a margin call to repay the difference in cash, and if they can't they go bankrupt
is there any way the redditors could get screwed from this
