Real. Titans had a decent season this year btw. Need to improve the defense for next season though.

    baby pluto

can somone explain the wall street gamestop robinhood AMC stock stuff to me like im 5

hedge funds expected those stocks to go down cause theyre bad companies, so they borrowed shares and sold them immediately, expecting to replenish the stocks they borrowed in the future for a lower price

retârds on reddit bought contracts granting them the right to purchase the stock for a certain price well above what it was trading at on a future date, most were jan. 15 dated

the brokers that issued those contracts to the redditors then bought GME to hedge their obligations to fulfill those contracts

that drove the stock price up, screwing the hedge funds that bet it'd go down.

to close their position and limit their losses the hedge funds need to repurchase the stock they shorted, but there isnt enough trading volume to get the amount of shares they need

so you have large institutional investors with theoretically infinite loss exposure competing to close out their position with too few shares to go around, causing the price to go up ever further until the funds either go bust or enough shares become available to close out the trade

now the redditors are hunting for stocks that have the highest short interest % so they can repeat the cycle. theres more nuance but thats basically whats happening

    What does this mean man

it's an optical illusion where it looks as if the planet is moving backwards from our view here on earth

astrologers believe in these times communication and patterns are disrupted causing an affect to our moods.

As far as we know its an optical illusion.

That depends how much you believe in NASA Space propaganda.
