    Do you live in nyc?

I am from Brooklyn. MSG has split their divisions. MSG Entertainment and MSG Sports Corp. Dolan is still the owner of MSG, but he is mainly focusing on the entertainment division. As of last year, Andrew Lustgarten has been named president and CEO of MSG Sports Corp and he's pretty much signing the checks for anything that relates to the Knicks and Rangers.

I was just wondering how it’s been there the past year. I’m in Chicago so I know how the media can paint a beautiful city when they have an agenda

Well the media here pays more attention to the Knicks than they do the Nets. Nets making the Finals most likely and most New York media will pay more attention to the Knicks even if they're mediocre

    2021 pick swap hilarious

    theathletic.com/2322106/2021/01/14/james-harden-trade-mega-roundtable-cap-draft-and-on-the-floor-implications

Additionally, one unexpected winner here? Oklahoma City. The 2021 Brooklyn-Houston pick swap now becomes part of a larger, wilder pick swap scenario involving Miami, and Oklahoma City, which gets the two best picks out of each of those four teams’ first-rounders (although Houston’s pick is top-four protected). Houston gets the third-best as long as its pick is outside the top-four, and Brooklyn gets the worst pick. Similarly, in 2025, Houston’s pick is top-10 protected. If it’s outside of the top 10, Oklahoma City will receive the best pick out of Houston, Brooklyn and its own selection. Houston will get the second-best, Brooklyn will get the worst. With Houston seemingly about to enter a rebuild and that 2025 Brooklyn pick having upside, Sam Presti’s wheeling and dealing just became that much more valuable.

I wouldn't mind living in New York again, I'm there every other week for freelance work and my field of study is in TV/Film production. NYC is where the vast majority of production work is so living there would make the most sense. It's just expensive af. Lately I've been looking to move to Charlotte as that's a city on the up and up in regards to black tech, media, and business. Figure I might as well get in early while it's still relatively cheap (compared to NY) and there's room to create something.
