Dude deplatforming and big tech having more and more power is a bad thing I know. And soon it’s possibly gonna get used on me.
But there’s no choice here. Letting everything go as usual lets these people grow and grow at a f***ing insane rate. This QAnon cult isn’t as small as people think, legit millions believe to some degree in it and a group of them almost murdered a big part of the political class. Literal congressmen and senators in the USA fully believe in it.
By letting Big Tech do this we risk them getting complete power over us. By not letting them do this we risk literal fascist cults like QAnon getting into power. Its a lose lose situation but one is ultimately safer

rt the right to assemble is enshrined in the constitution because a restriction on assembly is tantamount to a restriction on speech
assembly in 2021 happens on fb, twitter, etc. just because the townhall got privatized and digitized doesn't mean we should willingly transfer how we decide the parameters of acceptable discourse to a handful of vp's and activist employees in silicon valley companies

Dude being rational and arguing with them absolutely does not work. Have you ever talked with some of them? It’s like the flat earthers or deeply religious people, it’s past rational thinking, it’s a feeling or a conviction in life if you get what I’m saying
Discussing with people in a cult is useless since they believe deeply in their hearts that what they believe in is right, that everybody else is against them or lost and that arguments are purely a way to convince people of that fact. It’s why they’re into is laughingly cartoonish but they still ride with it; because because the facts and the truth are unimportant.
You literally can’t discuss with them. Try to find one of those in your life and have a discussion with him/her. You’ll see what I’m saying, you’ll disprove literally everything they say but they still won’t change their minds. We live in completely different worlds
